When fishing for Tarpon:

A full day charter is required to fish for Tarpon, due to the premier fishing spots being further away from San Pedro Town. Additionally, the best time to fly fish for Tarpon is early in the morning between 5:30 am and 6:00 am during sun rise. Hence the saying, "The early bird catches the worm".
When fly fishing for the first time on salt water:

It is best to start with Bonefish for practice and then move on to other species.
